Comet has released her new single, “Homunculus.” The raw, grunge-y track explores the feeling of being exposed, as represented by homunculus, and navigating the tension between who you are and how you’re perceived.
The unsettling and eerie video was directed by Sharleen Chidiac of voyeur and features Comet as a homunculus in a stark white room, peering at an old wedding photo while affixing a white dress, veil, and strands of hair to her scalp.

Last year, Comet, who was one of AP’s 25 artists to watch in 2025, released her Quitter EP, the follow-up to 2023’s Two-Winged, and wrapped a tour across America supporting Taraneh.
