The All-American Rejects confirm release date for first LP since 2012

The All-American Rejects have announced their new album, Sandbox, out May 15 via Slick Shoes. The LP will be the band’s first full-length since 2012’s Kids in the Street.

Late last year, the All-American Rejects released the single “Get This” with a video that spoofed Christmas movies. Now, the track’s official visualizer explores a different side to the song. The video, directed by Sarah Pardini and shot and edited by Andy Knight, gets sensual, with the lo-fi, VHS-style visualizer including hot dogs, lollipops, and hotel parties.

After giving fans a taste of the next chapter of AAR with “Sandbox” early last year, the new visualizer for “Get This” follows a whirlwind 2025 for the band. They made their own video game for their song “Search Party,” toured with the Jonas Brothers, performed at house parties, and even threw a surprise show at a Sheetz gas station in Pittsburgh.

The All-American Rejects will play SXSW later this spring, and they were just announced to play the Mexico City date of Vans Warped Tour in the fall.
